I want to thank everyone for their flexibility in the May attempt at an island campout. We had 22 scouts and did spend a couple hours at the lighthouse having lunch, swim test, seining and having fun exploring and goofing off. We went to the island for exploring and sign offs and were there just a short amount of time when we heard thunder and checked the weather and the leaders made the decision to head back early to the church due to the weather coming in. At the church, we worked on signoffs and dinner and finished up just before the next batch of weather came in – which lasted much longer than the first round. Thank you, Mrs. Drazich, for sending out the email as to the change in schedule.
